Why a design system pays off sooner than you think
A small set of shared tokens and components makes every next page faster to build and keeps the brand consistent.

A design system sounds like something only big companies need. In practice, even a landing page benefits from a handful of shared decisions: colors, type sizes, spacing and a few components.
Start small
- Tokens: colors, type scale and spacing, defined once.
- Core components: buttons, cards, badges and form fields.
- Patterns: how sections, headings and calls to action fit together.
With that in place, a new page is mostly composition. Designers stop redrawing buttons, and developers stop guessing paddings.
“Design systems are for people.”
